Q. How many LEDs can AD2 drive?

A. In series, with 10 V, at most 4 or 5, depending on the LED colors. In parallel, theoretically, a lot, as it can supply 700 mA, however, in practice, the power supply switches itself off for protection at a far lower number of LEDs and the current drawn. The circuit below, with just a handful of LEDs already caused the AD2 power supply to intermittently switch itself off for protection.
